| very little contrast. the tone is just not very interesting and everything comes across as pretty flat. |

| i admire your fearlessness with the tight crop, heavy shadowing, and b/w conversion. i only wish i could figure out who ormson was and why his fruit is so special. |

| Despite my best efforts I'm really not convinced that Fruit & Veg look good in B&W - but that's obviously a personal viewpoint. Perhaps if you want to go B&W with F&V you ned to look for items that have a real texture and grain that can be brought out by the mono approach. Still get's a vote though. |

| A bit too much crammed into the frame. IMO the pepper with the two tomatoes would have been perfect. I like the black & white though, most people don't think of using b&w for fruit and veg. |

congratulations - this photograph contains a fruit and/or a vegetable, therefore it meets the challenge! well done!
no no no ... very disappointing. b&w just doesn't work well in this kind of challenge. 4! |
