Excellent tech in this image. I think that a different background would be better. I'm not sure about the brown on brown being as appealing as a more tropical look would be.

as a parody this is fantastic. if you were really looking for "refreshment", i'd work on your white balance. actually if the background was pure white and the kiwi was green and a bit more in focus, and you cloned out the extraneous air bubble you'd be in business on this site.

Neat idea, background looks dirty, focus is off just a bit and it could use brighter lighting. But a good idea.

congratulations - this photograph contains a fruit and/or a vegetable, therefore it meets the challenge! well done!

odd composition ... slightly out of focus. using a coloured background would have made the shot (and the water) more interesting. 5!
