Camera: Canon EOS-300D Rebel

I had several options for this challenge yet none of them really stood out strong. What I liked most about this image was the way the editing gave it an old photo feel along the lines of the photographer who was mentioned in the challenge description. Not really an emotion to this shot but I like the way it looks. All I am hoping for is a mid 5 so it doesnt hurt my average too much.

I like the brown nostalgic tones too. And I like how he is the only thing sharply focused.

This has a sort of "film camera" look to it. The excellent sepia colour adds to the effect. Really great shot.

interesting tones. i'm saying this alot in my comments, but i wish your subject had a counterpoint that developed the story more. the composition with the cut off man and over conspicuous bus seems a bit forced, and i might have waited for another few seconds or another subject if time didn't permit that.

Nice crisp shot, and good post processing. I like the context you've provided in this shot; the scale of the subject to his surroundings does give the sense of 'being there'. On the critical side, there is a voyueristic feeling, too. Although I feel the photo draws ME in, I don't get the feeling that you the photographer were involved in the time & place that I think a good street photo should provide. (Hope that isn't too confusing, but feel free to PM if it is). 6

Just a great capture. Love the tones in the shot, great composition and the "Don't Walk" sign is priceless. Nicely done. 8

I really like this. I particularly like the "Don't Walk" sign. Great focus on the man. I like the sepia toning as well.
