Just some of the kids' toys. I'd love to have edited out some of the worse marks on them, but alas 'tis basic editing.

Great material. I like the use of toys because they are in general so colorful. You have everything placed nicely to convey a good use of the frame. The sharpness is also good. Just curious if you tried using any small model subjects? I think there is a certain life missing from the photo that would have helped with a little tyke. However, this is just a personal preference since I love shooting people :) It is a nice capture, colors pop and is a good product placement shot. I think as far as voting, I think the wrinkled curtain may have been the only thing that hurt. A terrific idea for the challenge.

Nicely lit, sharp, and very colorful. And it's a challenge about school, so I think kids' toys fit just fine!

One thing to watch for is sharp reflections of lights. Try putting a piece of tissue paper over the light (I use a piece that came in a gift bag). That'll turn it into a fuzzy bright spot.

I'm betting this will do really well as a stock shot - it's clean, simple, sharp and colorful. And to submit to stock you can edit out whatever you want!

Kashi, actually, I'm surprised you did as good as you did. Not because it's a bad picture, but toys usually get crushed in DPC. I think you did a good job with the composition and the background and the colors really stand out.

Less noise would have made this photo even better,
maybe a lower ISO?

it'd be nice to have more context or at least more stuff happening within the scene. nice idea if worked with a little bit more.

A baby or toddler in the picture would be nice...or at least their foot or hand or something. Lighting is VERY good. And of course, the colors are vibrant and beautiful!
