Technically off a ducks head, but I won't quibble over a small thing like that! Very nice capture of motion, Getting the body in focus and having the drops be distinct is great. 8 |

I didn't see it from the thumbnail - but I love the droplets of water flying off as the duck shakes. The blurr of green makes wonderful motion, and the tail is sharp. Wish the water weren't so yellow. Could you desaturate the yellows? The beak is suck a deep yellow you might get most out of the water without loosing the beak. Or after the competition, spot edit. |

All right, I give. How did you get the duck to do that on cue????! I wish he had done it with his back tail feathers though. |

Nicely caught. Without the droplets I think the motion blur of the head would be wrongly seen as a 'bad' thing. It certainly gives him/her a personality. Real shame about the water, tho. |

Spectacular motion capture. My first impression was, too bad he was shaking his head, but once I saw the title, dead on perfect for this shot!!! |
