All nitpicks aside, it's a lovely image. A delight to view.

I like this shot but still, could have been better. The tree kindof fills the frame too much for me, I would have preferred a landscape oriented shot with the tree in the right side of the frame and you including all the branches of the reflection. I think a polarizer would have helped by getting the sky and reflection ultra blue, you might want to start using one of those if you shoot a lot of photos like this, trust me, you won´t regret that purchase if you don´t already have one.

Processing wise I also think it´s a bit flat contrast wise, I tried using auto curves in photoshop and it overdid it a little but it´s a step in the right direction, a little work on the contrast and you would be set.

Anyway think it´s underrated in the challenge and should have scored better but then again the free studies are hard to score well in.

I like the solitude of the tree in the lake. Overall I like it quite a bit but I know its out of your control but if the water was just a little more calm it would kick it up quite a bit more.

Very nice either way,

Has a lot of graphic potential. For instance, clone out the horizon line completely. Then the horizon becomes the unseen horizontal line at which the reflection begins. I know this is not OK with the challenge rules but you can still develop this image further for commercial potential. You could also play around with levels and make this image a little more effective.

a very nice image indeed. the colours are super. i think it would be more interesting if the relection of the tree was complete as well. if the tree was a bit brighter, it would stand out more. perhaps a curves layer would help?

I think this is pretty cool. I like the concept, and the uniqueness of the single tree in the water. I would love to see it shot on a day when the water is perfectly still.

This is a very nice find and a good eye to see it. I can't help but wonder if there is another time of day (more flattering light, perhaps some clouds, and glassy still water) to revisit this and possibly another angle (higher elevation to eliminate distant shoreline). It's a nice shot overall but leaves me wanting more. Good luck in the challenge.

Could benefit from some contrast

Nice but you chopped off part of the reflection :(

I think it was better if you have the complete mirror image.
