 saw this arch in a small town that we stopped at. I met this guy named kid-Galahad who let me take his picture. I hope people don't vote down thinking it is a homeless shot. He is not homeless, in fact he is a photographer too. I live in a small town there are not many chances for this. Too bad this challenge started the day after Crystal and I were in Tampa.

wanted a simpler title but got scared at the last minute that people would vote down with the thought of him being homeless.

good job, nice composition too. I like how the floorboards of the stoop are similar in color to his pants. nicely done

nice processing. i'm not getting hopelessness from this, perhaps i'm misunderstanding your message. actually with the new brick built around the old door way, i'm getting the feeling of a surviving while others try to stop you.

I like the coloring here, but I'm not very fond of the composition. If your point of view were higher, the perspective of the arch could have been better. Or some perspective correction would have also made this one better. Even still, I think it would have been more interesting with a tighter crop.
