Sorry for the title, just being silly. This is my cat. His name is "Pumuckl" (it's a German cartoon character, feisty, trouble-maker, with red-hair -- it suits him). I was out and about today, but I didn't like anything as much as I liked this, so here it is! Used my manual focus Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 wide open for shallow DoF.
Postprocessing: crop, gradient map (to B&W), levels, curves, contrast, selective color, sharpen, resize, borders, save for web. |

Ohhhhhhhhhwuhhhh!!!! I love this photo!!!! I like the best of anything you could have taken outside too. Pumuckl certainly deserves a place of honor in the Where You Live thread!!
