 I've been trying to get this shot for five years. Still not sure I got it.

This board is for posting House committee meetings for today. To the left is the main entrance to the office of the Clerk of the House, to the right is another entrance for the Clerk's staff. This is the North Atrium, third floor. Shot taken from the middle of the hallway, behind Oglethorpe's bust (about halfway to my office).

This time of year, the sunlight coming through the windows waaay up above the atrium (east side) hits the board at 11:15 am. Today was a quiet(ish) day since the General Assembly was in adjournment, so the gaggle around the board was just these three people.

this is one heck of a shot
i love the play with light and the shadows are fantastic

I can see why you've been trying to get this shot - the light is wonderful! You may want to try a square crop with what you ahve here, with just the gentleman with his hat and the bit of the flag to his left. I think that might make a very striking composition. Nice work with the exposure on this, too.
