 -taken from a carpark.
-pretty much from camera besides crop, b&w and some curves.
-no border used.
-i know it will not do very well in the challenge.
-i like it.

I recognize the girls with the balloons from your other shot. This one is great, too.

Just wanted to drop you a comment saying that I gave you your one 9 and the highest score I gave in the challenge was a 9. I gave out 6 of them of which yours is by far the lowest rated (which I think, in many ways, is a bigger accomplishment than an average score). I appreciate those who submit to the challenge knowing that their work will not score well. Your street stuff is outstanding and I always enjoy browsing your portfolio from time to time. Keep up the great work.

I gave this an 8, should have gone higher. There were a lot of great shots in this challenge, but as usual, yours is one of the most distinctive.

Sadly overlooked. The natural framing is a key element, not too dark at all, and the balloons and the little girls' pigtails are what make this for me. What are they watching?

not sure there was enough light for it, but would have been cool to colorize the balloons. Or even colorize the background of the city. nice job

i like this alot. very gutsy submission. the man with the hat countering the girls with balloons makes this image for me. perhaps the monitor i'm viewing this on sucks, but i wish there was a stronger contrast between the foreground and background. the blacks and whites have a grayness to them.

Interesting image.

comp good, great sillouettes, nice movement, blacks in bg a bit too deep, whites in bg need help, nice light, nice texture, nice lines, the top and bottom natural frame is great, overall a nice pix

This is really neat! The balloons and the little girls with the pig tails make it. This really fits the challenge beautifully.
