Hello Irene!
This is very good - lots of interest and contrasting elements and she has a fascinating face. |

Thanks, Chris. Believe me, I was terrified. |

Nice shot! I agree with noraneko in regards to the person in the background. |

The out of focus person walking the other direction in the background provides a great counterpoint to the subject. Well done. |

I'd prefer this cropped just to the right of the door frame in the background. The bright spot just behind the person walking seem to keep grabbing my eye. I love this otherwise. |

technically, very well done. as for street photography, it's a little too close in (at least IMO). Maybe if her expression was different (angry at your presence for an example) it would've worked. |

Some may not consider this "street" photography, but it's a nicely done, well composed street portrait. |

The interesting background is great, and combined with the perfect DOF it doesn't take away at all from the subject. Very dynamic composition. Well done! |

Nice and sharp, and well exposed and processed. Still it seems to have a bit of a portrait feel IMO. I also find the sign in the top left corner to be a little distracting. |

What makes this work is the out of focus street and pedestrian walking behind. Wonderful portrait! |
