 One of several round barns in the area. This one looks like it is loosing the battle for survival.

Might be helpful for viewers like me, for you to indicate where "...in the area" in Photograph Information, Location or Photographer's Comments on this page. Had to reference your profile to determine that it is probably Indiana. Excellent barn - they have become so rare.

I really like the long shadow of the tree in front of the barn - nice touch to this!

A beautiful winter image. A round barn makes a lot of sense, to get the max floor space out of the least material. Another advantage is that with stalls all around, feeding and watering can be done from the center without taking everything up and down an isle. It seems like an excellent idea.

I'm glad you've captured it in photo before it collapses. I also think that the beautiful shadow adds some nice interest to the photo as well.

That is so interesting. Unique. I wonder what the advantage was to having the barn round. I think the fact that it's on its last leg is what makes is so photogenic and special looking.
