Has a nice gritty feel. Very real.

The lighting and contrast just aren't quite right

like how his pose mimics the walk sign. except for the bmw this scene feels very 70s ish to me, which is cool. looks a bit overexposed in parts that don't help the composition for me.

overexposed and very flat. i can see elements that might be points of interest, but they don't interact with each other and so just get lost.

I like the idea you started with here, but I think that your execution needed to be stronger. I'd like to see the gentleman standing a bit more off the left border of the frame. It feels cramped as is. I'd also like to see a more contrasting tonal range. With the harsh light here, the image looks a bit too flat.

This photo has a lot of character. I like the text of the "forplay sign," the cop car and the position of the man standing. I do wish there was more contrast though.

There is seriously a shop called 'Forplay'?!
I am afraid that there isn't enough definition in this photograph for it to work for me. The subject is surely the man standing in the left corner, and yet this is the area where focus is softest. The photo also has a washed out feel - a little judicious burning would help give a little more contrast. On a positive note, the inclusion of the police car helps provide a sense of story to the photo.

"What are your dreams?" Street man from Pretty Woman

Wish I could see more of the guy's face on the corner.

Too grey, try higher the black levels just a bit ?

I'm interested in the forplay in the background ;-)
