From my first 'maternity shoot' that I just did for my nephew and his lovely wife. I thought the shoot went very well, and I got some great shots. In fact, I had a real hard time deciding what to enter :-)
I used a bright lit window behind them with a white curtain on it for the backlighting, then my jury rigged light set up with a white umbrella as a soft box from the front right, and diffused flash for fill, and a silver reflector on the floor in front of them. This is my most aggressive lighting endeavor to date, and would welcome any comments as to what I did right or wrong :-)

| Great warmth in this image, the lighting is good too, the focus seems to be a lil soft on the faces which ar an integral part of the feeling. Nice composition though |

| I always hate to see those pregnancy shots when the couple is looking at the camera smiling as they're touching the belly. This is much more genuine and sincere. Nicely done. |

| Nice depiction of love... The background it just a tad too bright for me since you're losing parts of the shoulders and her hips into the white, and it's also very contrasty (is that a word?) compared to the shadows of her face. |
