 This is the third time I've changed this entry. I just can't get her to look frightened! The ball is a cheap toy placed on a spoon and moved down during the exposure. It would have been better if I could have posed her arms.

Did the ball move or was this handheld? What is interesting is that the white of the ball clearly has some camera shake (or else you have a very dirty/smudged ball), but the doll is very sharp. This certainly has humor, but not really sure what else to say about it. The OOF 8 just seems to dominate the image, which I guess is the point of it due to the saying. This doesnt really do much for me, sorry.

I realize the idea is "behind," however, the blurriness of the eight ball is distracting. I wouldd have prefered a clearer focus on both subjects.

The depth of field doesn't really work for me in this image. The 8-ball is central to the concept and as such, should have been in focus.
