Squished this into a very tiring day - way taking my daughter out to dinner and saw this in the alley we parked our car in - I loved the hopefullness of the green in an otherwise dim alleyway.

That green door adds so much to this shot! Great find and perfect clarity on all the objects in the photo.

Yes - that's really what it suggests, isn't it? I like that you saw it and captured it.

Sharp, colorful, and contrasty in light and in building styles. Good "see" for the day.

Yes. Some business owner in the area just had to put a little life into the area. But I really love those old grungy areas. I think they are very photogenic.

far out and just love this photograph ... was just going to turn off computer and noticed this one of yours ... once again we're in sequence!!
the contrasting colours are really stunning and work so well together .. and the graffiti gives it a lift ... its amazing how something so apparently ordinary can be turned into something so excellent .. the photographer's eye ... extraordinary ...
edit .. i'm going to meet other dpc ppl tomorrow at Darling Harbour in Sydney ... shame you couldnt have come too ... it'll be so good meeting other ppl with the same interest .. or rather obsession!!!
