I now regret changing the title. It was originally titled "Eat Your Words" which would have probably made more sense. Then I changed it to "Hard to Swallow" at the last second. I think "Truth" would have been harder to swallow then "hate", but it was too late to reshoot it. Oh well, too late now.

This photo could have done double-duty in the Propaganda challenge -- nice job!

Good, creative idea adding a bit of message into the bargain. The lighting is a bit awkward being so harsh and low and the spoon looks out of place with the bowl.

Very good statement. I really like the way the light hits the spoon. The shadows add a nice touch.

If I could vote here, perfect 10.

I think the word PRIDE would have better served you in the spoon. Cool idea though.

What fun! Clever one, and wonderfully realized visually. Your shadows are awfully dark, however, most noticably the one in front, I assume from the lens itself. Very clever idea, however, congrats!

amazed by your thought to put those letters together so that it matches the title so wonderful!

Obviously we never get tired of playing with alphabet soup. I am not sure of what I want to comment on, that is, I don't know if I want the spoon in clear focus with the bowl out of focus; or a cleaner, all in focus shot. I guesst the bottoom line is that the lack of sharpness detracts form this neat picture. The heavy shadow in the bottom of the bowl was adistraction. In my humble opinion.

Excellent work, this is really appropriate for this theme. I wish there was some DOF
I would have cropped this picture to get rid of the round shadow on the bottom of the photo, its throwing me off a little
Overall, great idea and nice shot.

I agree. Good literalism and portrayed well.

Good idea! But what is the shadow at the bottom? I think it'd be better if there is no shadow at the bottom...

Very clever interpretation of the challenge indeed.

I really like the lighting in this photo even though the next comment may very well complain that the bowl is too dark (don't listen to them). It would have been interesting if you seperated the foreground from the background by adjusting the depth of field causing the bowl to be out-of-focus. But using the light works well too.
