 A view of Grange over Sands from the place I was staying in Arnside.

The advent of the Furness Railway transformed the small fishing village of Grange-over-Sands into the fashionable Victorian/Edwardian resort, with wealthy merchants building grand houses, which now accommodate top quality hotels.

Marvellous limestone buildings dominate this picturesque seaside town.

When they're done well, I love far-away shots; I love this far-away shot :) I love the birds on the beach, too; that's a nice, sharp lens you've got there to get them so clearly on the edge. Thanks for the lesson, too, sounds like a nice place to visit.

it looks very pleasant and peaceful.
i just want to find a pub over in the distance, sit out in the garden and drink pints of Stella whilst looking over the bay!

OMG. . .this is FABULOUS!!! A beautiful scene under any conditions, but you have photographed it to enhance it to its best! The rich reds in the sands and the deep blues. WOW!!!!!!!!
