 One of my cats, Mica, actually hunting crickets on an overcast dreary afternoon.

Auto levels, Auto contrast, Auto color, Brightness -25, Contrast +10, Cooling filter #80 @ 50%, Pull back yellow in greens, Push black in reds, pull back magentas in magenta, push cyan in blues, push black in whites, Cooling filter #82 @ 10%, Thin black border, Resize to 640 X, USM.

a little dark. a play on levels, then maybe curves could help here...

Great shot but it seems a little too dark for me. Maybe making the cat a little brighter would bring out some of the details a little better. (But thats just my opinion)
