 Its not really comet trails, nothing that exciting happens in Worcester. I had been experimenting with light and reflections in close-up and stumbled on this effect with a DVD from less than 1\" with diopter lens fitted to my kit lens. I had a small light source to the left of the DVD, which when moved altered the colour of the \"trail\"
