 This is a model from my HS Biology department. I suspended it from one end and let the opposite end rest at an angle on a sheet of blue posterboard.

Post-processing: adjustments in levels, sharpen, contrast, curves, cloned out a bit of glare on the yellow piece in the foreground, cloned out a thread in the background, reduced file size, added a border, saved for web.

I do like the colorful interpretation and composition, just wish for a bit more DOF or maybe more of the subject since its hard to see the double helix from this angle.

I like the DOF, color and light but the crop/composition seems a bit too tight. Overall good image.
