I take no credit for the actual graffiti. It is from downtown Toronto near Dundas Square. The transparency effect was taken with a 3 second shutter speed, self-timer, and i walked out of the frame as it shot.
Julien Fantino is our Police Chief and graffiti is an issue he continually tackles here in Toronto. Notice the "Fantino love me" in the top left corner. Graffiti artists are sending him a direct message. They cannot be stopped.

I expected this photo to end up higher as this was one of the better submissions IMHO.

Wow, it took me a minute to see the ghosted image. Pretty darn cool visually, but might have had more impact if the guy was crouching down and spraying or atleast holding a can. The couching down might have also made him blend better with the grafitti character as well, since they kinda crowd each other out like this. I really do dig it though.

The ghosted artist is very subtle; I didn't notice him at first. It adds a nice touch to the image; I like it.

At first I was about to dismiss this as someone else's art - then I noticed the ghost figure.
But I am afraid I don't get the message - what does the presence/ position/ pose of the man imply?
An intriguing image, certainly, but I'm obviously not getting the propagandist message?

The ghost image is well done, took me a second to even spot it.

Perhaps it'd be more propaganda with a title of Shop Owner's Unite Against the defacing of your establishment. 5 -danny

I like the colours in this photo. The ghostly figure resembles the graffiti artists very well: i.e. many of them are not known to the 'normal society' because they work at night and disappear after they finish their work.
