I generally do not prefer small DOF because a lot of times it seems like it is used just for the sake of using it. But here, it really adds to the photo - and adds to it in a very wonderful way, I think. This was a ten from me! |

The biggest problem when shooting macros of ICs is the inevitable dust which always ends up on them. You did well to avoid that issue. |

What a great example of taking the ordinary and making it something special. The light sparkles, and those pretty blue lights make it look so ethereal and pretty! :) I really like this!

Good composition and lighting but I don't think the short DOF suits. |

I should know what the acronym is, but suffice it to say I know it has to do with computers. I like the DOF and the resulting bokeh - nice shot! |

Don't get the acro, but nice shot and good bokeh. Well, round bokeh woulda been better. :) 6 |

Interesting abstract. Almost looks like it was taken with a lens baby. Maybe I appreciate this because I worked in the field for 25 years until my government decided to pave the way to outsourcing my job. :) Unfortunately there is not an application specific integrated circuit in this image. Just a circuit board. :) I still like the oof areas and gave this a 7. In this challenge, there can be no DNMC! |

Sorry... don't know what ASIC is. Maybe too technical a term? Still, I'm impressed at how brilliant this photo is! |
