 This is my good friend Raegan. I'm giving her photography lessons, and we were just messing around, and i was hoping to find a good chance to get an acronym out of her today, and as soon as i saw her looking at some of the pictures, she actually said "what the heck is this???"

she had the flash on, and had the shutter speed at like 1/25th, and it was a VERY sunny day, so it was very washed out :)

she's so cute :D

anyway

post processing was minimal. i was shooting jpg, surprisingly. new 20d, didn't realize it was in jpg mode.

cleaned up a few places w/ patch tool
black and white version
added vignette effect
25 pixel border
resize
smart sharpen
save for web
that's all

"WTH ? ? ?" is a great entry into the acronym challenge, I remember seeing this while voting and thinking that this was an excellent entry.

Great post processing, it really lets the viewer focus on the subject. I really like the focus glow on her face. You did a wonderful job capturing that expression of confusion that we all have felt. The lighting is very good and I like how you burned out the outside. Also good work not capturing any reflection of her glasses.

Overall, excellent work and congrats on placing 25th!

I love the expression. Matches the acronym perfectly! :D Image is well thought out and her face is perfectly focused and exposed. Not really fond of the burned lower half but it does cover (mostly) the blown highlights. Good luck in the challenge.
