| The crop is a little awkward as you cannot picture the tree trunks - Not a lot to hold the eyes - Nice sharpness though |

| The b&w conversion is nice. I really like the silhouette of the trees on the right. I think the focus of the picture is supposed to be the open space in the middle, but it doesn't really work, because my eye keeps getting drawn to the edges of the picture, where there is more contrast. |

| Subjectless composition helps make the frame actually part of the picture, as your title suggests. I normally don't like borders like this but I do think it works here! |
