I really like this shot. I don't like that it has a teal hue to it, and the sharpness could be much better, but the picture is so interesting that those things don't matter. Well done.

wonderful image - love the colors and light and the ice is amazing - but i really think the title is strange, still it gets a 7 from me

This really appeals to me. The very limited colour palette is effective, as is the simple composition; I even think the border works well. My only slight criticism is that it is a shame the twig to the left of the frame is cut off - another inch and it would have been damn near perfect. Bumping from 8 to 9.

There is a hell of a lot of potential in this lovely composition, but the tonalities are just too muddy. If you have photoshop, try opening it up and use image/adjustments/autolevel and watch what happens; that's a great starting point.

Beautiful shot with the ocean in the background. Great contrast of subjects. Might try to convert to greyscale and play with the color to get even more contrast with the greenish-blue ocean.

Theres my winner - Great shot. Very striking. My only gripe would be the crop of the far left of the tree - Was there something else there that made you crop to the branch? Very nice though.
