|For this one I froze some water in a bowl and left an indention with a bottle cap at the bottom. Once frozen I removed the bottle cap and filled the indention with salt and saturated the salt with isopropyl alcohol. The block of ice was placed on an upside down glass baking pan, lit from underneath with a 4-led lamp. I set the salt/alcohol on fire and snapped off several shots. This was my favorite from the set.
Post-processing was mostly in ACR 4...cropping, exposure, shadows, brightness, contrast, color temp, convert to grayscale. Once in PS, added a USM layer, resized, and saved.
