Great photo, but of the two elements (sand/sky) I find the sand has more texture and interest. I'm not an expert (and not seeing what you saw in the lense) but if you could have gotten 2/3 sand and retained the colors and texture in the sand I think it would have been even better.

Great wide angle shot, nice colours. i agree with kenskid, the bisecting horizone doesn't work for this picture. It makes you feel like you're being shortchanged on either the sand or the sky. Moving the horizon I think will add dynamic to the picture |
