 i took this picture using a samsung, digmax A503, on Feb 28, 2007, the only edit i made was to resize, rotate and darker by 10%.

This is a nice idea, but for some reason I think the rays and the horse/sigh/fence in the background really take away from the feel of it. A bit of contrast would be nice as well, to really help it pop out for the viewer.

I love the rays over her face; but the horseman in the background is distracting and the pole is confusing.

Basking in the sun is a great concept and I like your capture, however the tones are too muted and nothing really grabs me. I wish there was more contrast. The background distracts from the main idea. The facial expression is perfect! ...like drinking the sunlight.

Its hard to make a lens flare work to your advantage, but you did very well with it!

the sun as medicine? even with the title i feel i'm stretching the interpretation. it's odd how she's standing next to the tree or pole.
