| Oh wow, this is very nice. Clear and crisp... and oh so adorable. Great work on the b&w conversion. Free studies are a tough nut to crack sometimes. So many entries to vote on, just under 400 participating but non-voting members out of 617... sad. |

| Oh what a sweet little face. Something about her eyes makes her look older her years. I like the b&w and the contrast - maybe bringing out the blacks even more would be nice. About your score...I didn't vote in this challenge but I think that a wee bit sharper focus would have given you a boost and aside from that, it's the face of a child and for some reason the voters are often harsh on pic's of children. I don't understand it either! Big heartless meanies!! |

| need more contrast and greater detail. HINT: when photographing children get down to their eye-level, it improves the image dramatically. first off, they're not intimidated by a taller person with a camera, second, you stoop down to their world, and see things from their perspective. |

| Overall, this is a lovely portrait, the lighting is nice and soft, it's nicely composed and framed, and the expression on her face is good. The main problem is with the focus. The focus seems to be on her shirt instead of her eyes. |

| Looks like the focus is on her shirt and not her face. She is beautiful and it's a sweet photo but her face should really be in focus. |
