This is an artificial pond with a little island. This little guy was just standing there. I actually went to shoot a big gray goose that lives in the pond but I liked how this guy looked instead.

Process:
crop, then adjustment layers for: levels (auto), hue/sat, channel mixer, dodge the rock and duck details, USM (20,50,0), resize (90ppi,640), USM (200,0.5,0), save for web

I find it so attractive and peculiar to see the colors of the duck mirrored in the old paint of the boat, nice!

Great lighting - I can see with the shipwreck title what you were getting at but I find the boat a little distracting as it's such a similar tone to the duck.
