 Actually this is a buzzard flying to roost just after sunset. I saw him just in time to grab a shot, as I was set up to try to pan a shot of birds flying by. The sunset was a bust, but at least this one turned out ok.
It is a little darker than the orig, but I twisted the knobs a little to get this to look right. The haze around the moon is the real thing. The lens ; Bushnell Manual 135mm /f 2.8
built about 1973.

I love this one. The color of the sky and the way my eyes bounce back and forth between the buzzard and the moon. Cool shot.
