 Went out to the bayou behind the apartment, sat down and talked to the duck. Apparently due to his looks he doesn't get many social calls.

We have a lot of these ducks with the lumpy faces near me as well ('course I'm not that far from you!) I have not been able to get a shot as clear and detailed as this one, though. I suppose I ought to look up something about this species sometime.

What the ... Strange looking duck. But the image of it is great. Super detail and colours couldn't be better. Is this duck diseased?

Good thing ducks do not use human standards for sexual attraction, or there would not be any ducks, at least not of this variety.
Good sharp image, and it did meet the challenge criteria well.

Great job. That is some amazing detail and texture. I love these ducks too. They are quite homely, but they seem to be so gentle and sweet.

Indeed, he's really ugly. So ugly that even shows some beauty. But your image is very well done: sharp focus (just a bit oof at the top of its beak), vivid colors and nice bokeh.
