 Crop & resize, adjusted color saturation and brightness/contrast. Color Balance was the finishing touch. Then added the border.

Nice look on her face. She looks proud. I don't particularly like the finish to her hair though. It looks over-proccessed to me. Lighting a dog's hair without diffusers is always best. You want the highlights to pop at you and you get this with bare lights. This almost looks like a painting. jmo

I really like this as a pet portait. Processing is great and it looks like a painting. Great pose. The dog looks more orange than red.

the dog seems to have abundant patience to pose so nicely. I am sure you may have got a few comments abt brown or red but the eyes does move on to red

This is one of the most beautiful pet portraits i ever see, but i am not sure if it meets the challenge, so i will decrease my score to 6. Hope you understand (on a pet portrait challenge i give you a 9)

looks like it would make a wonderful oil painting. I don't love the processing but the pose is great. I think it might need a little more space at the top of the pic since the dog is looking up. plus it would also balance with the bottom

Back to comment: Excellent portrait. A few wrinkles visible in the background and I bet a few voters will say the dog isn't red. Wrong they would be and I gave you a 7.
