 It's early in the year for snow here, though not painfully so. This maple still had almost all its leaves (though still yellow) a couple days before the snowfall. You can see all the other plants that hadn't quite expected this (only fair, neither did the weatherman) poking up through as well.

By the next day, it was all gone.

It can be sudden, can't it? The poor tree was caught off guard ;(

The cropping is a bit off to me, I think I would have liked it more if the tree was more centered and not off to the right. The contrast and brightness is also a bit off, a 7

I might have not cropped it so tight, or if so, cropped it so the tree appears farther to the right.

The tree shows a little fall remaining and adds a little color to the photo 8
