| I like the choice of gray as a background color; it really makes the red stand out. I think a more diffused light source and more saturation would help, though. |

| For my liking the shot would have worked better if both apples were in focus. The shadow in the left corner is also quite distracting. - 5 |

| wish you'd boosted the saturation on this one ... the red in the apples is washed out and lacks a punch |

| The focus is a little soft on this image. Did you sharpen the image after resizing for the challenge? Most people run Unsharp Mask (USM) after resizing. In addition, the subject is rather ordinary and doesn't offer much to hold the viewer's attention. |

| Nice subject, nice use of depth of field. I like the light reflections. I would like to see perhaps a little more lighting, something seems a little flat. |
