| I was the 3rd eight ;) Really like this shot. I was browsing your profile and saw this in the outtakes folder and immediately knew I saw this in a Free Study. That was over a month ago. This shot has staying power! :) |

| Wow colours. Ditto JuliBoc, but especially the green coat which pulls you up to the blossoms. (What is the white thing by the Wiem's head? His/her ear?) |

| This is really nice. The vibrant colors are the first thing that catches my eye. The blue of the umbrella repeated in the slacks, and the green of the grass repeated in the raincoat. The wet pavement and the sunshine make a very special Spring moment. And of course the tree is magnificent. I like the lines of the paved walkways leading to the brick building in the background. The dog is the final something extra that tops it off. Congratulation on a new front page image. |

| For the first two seconds I look at this picture, I think "so what." Then the cherry blossoms create an avalanche knocking me down into woman and dog. the tremendous step of the dog outside of the boundary of the walkway then sends me right out of the picture into a devastating mystery. This is what is meant by composition. This is what is meant by "the composition IS the subject." 10 |

| Pretty scene. I can't tell if this is a setup shot or not but it feels like one. Nothing really wrong with that if it was but then I expect more if that makes sense. Still voted it favorably. |

| Beautiful... the color harmony is perfect here - for example, the person's green coat matches the grass, and then the umbrella matches the pants, and the sidewalk matches the buildings in the background... it all adds up for a really classic shot! I love it! |

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two now and I'm running late, sorry.

| Wow! This is definitely a beautiful photo. One that my wife would love to have in her scrapbook if it was her. Unfortunately, I can't see too many people here on DPC rating it extremely high because, although the photo quality is superb, the subject does not capture the audience as you would probably like it too. Still though, I give it a 9. |
