My original idea didn't work out as planned. Unfortunately, this dog is trained well. Too well.

Reminds me of those funny commercials! I wish I could see more of the dog's facial features better, though- the eyes especially

if the bacon is the subject, it needs to be in focus

Great concept, but I wish it were in better focus.

Great picture I can almost smell the bacon myself!

So funny, well done. I like it a lot!

This cute little pooch really brings out the smell of that bacon. The floor seems a bit bright and the dog's face a bit dark, but great concept and nicely composed.

cute photo and it captures the scent of bacon.....I know the dog thinks so!!

You have made it very difficult for yourself to get a good image out of this, a very black dog on a very white floor, and an object very close to the lens and also farther away, both intended to be sharp. Now the dog is underexposed, floor overexposed, it would need much softer light, to reduce contrast. Also bouncing back the light to lighten up the head of the dog would have helped, it is now in the shadow. Or take the same picture with the light coming from your back, instead of from the front (wathc youw onw shadow then!!).

Good idea that wasn't done 100 times! If the bacon was a little lower or if it was more in focus, it would have been more fun. It looks like you maybe adjusted the brightness/contrast too much. You might want to try histogram adjustments or levels. They are not as harsh.

I like the humor in this photo but find the exposure lacking in that you have blown out highlights as well as lost detail in the shadows. Lighting is way too harsh and I wish that the bacon strip was also in focus.

everything seems out of focus. harsh lighting.

What are you feeding that dog. And he does not look to impressed, sorta like how I feel. Funny. :) I realy like that dogs expression.:) I cant stop laughing...
Your score just went up. The heck with it. Im giving you a 10.
That poor doggy.

Like it is said: dog's nose is about ten thousand times more sencitive than human nose (talking about smeling things)..
Very good concept of the picture!
The middle of the picture.. the floor is badly overexposured becouse the light reflects from that.. maybe if the light should come more form left or right then you don't have this problem.

No

I have to laugh at this. I have a mini dachs and she goes to the kitchen whenever she hears a sound of food wrapping being opened or smell of cooking food. The photo fits the challenge well but composition and other techniques have room for improvement.

Where is your focus...not the dog we don't see his face eyes/not the the bacon treat. I think this is a good idea, just not shot well. Cute weener dog, my husband loves them. Maybe if the light had been in front of the dog?

Great idea, I want that bacon! :-P I would say u could do with some better lighting in front of the dog rather than behind it seeing as it is a black dog. Well done tho!
