How I got this

part of a ir action in ps, and lucas art
I havent quite got the hang of having ps keep the steps I take. Would love a quick tutorial on how to do that.

The processing is kind of fun, and I like the subject. I don't like the composition much -- the background is too distracting. As long as you are "over-processing" it, why don't you try blurring the background and cranking up the saturation and contrast on the red vehicle.

I like this a lot! The processing is supported nicely by the raw gritty powerful subject and the starkness of the shot is quite good!

Yes. Alien buggy in alien landscape. It's not s soft light theme.

I have to admit I quite like the processing on this. I think without the extras it wouldn't have as much oooomph.

Yes, it's overprocessed, but when you mean it, it's fine. That is, I think the look adds to the impact, given the industrial, mechanical nature of the subject. I mean, sitting in an open buggy, running on a dirt track, is a harsh environment. The processing conveys that harshness.
