I guess you shot first (and last). I love the DOF, soo good. It really draws your aention to the barrel tip. Maybe a different background would make it better. |

I was always told in drama and stage never to point a prop gun toward the audience, now I know why. |

Yep, that's a circle all right. You'll get voted down for the gun, but I think the shot is refreshing, original, and well done. I might have tried to get a little more contrast onto the muzzle of the gun, so it stands out more, but that's a minor thing. |

I like the shallow DOF right on the barrel, really puts BANG into the photo....bad pun... but nonetheless good picture |

Original challenge interpretation, good DOF. Don't care much for the lighting, colors and title though... |

Not voting on this one but will say I really don't like looking down the barrel of a gun, even if it is just a photograph. Personal opinion. |

Good idea and good DOF but personally I find the wall et al too distracting |

very much in two minds about this. the tongue-in-cheek nature of the title does not really fit with the manner in which the shot is presented; the whole getting shot for sleeping with a sister thing is more of a stereotypical humourous thing, and as a result a photo more mockingly cartoony and decidedly less menacing in nature might be better fitting.
technically i like the use of the blur to bring the end of the gun into sharp focus, thereby maximising the fitting the challenge potential. it does suffer from an overwhelming sense of grey though - levels, brightness and contrast adjustments might help. and pure oddness of the background (mounted basketballs with horns?) is a detracting element...
My First Weighted Scoring System ΓΆ„ΒΆ; composition + technical 1/3, challenge 1/1, post processing results 0.5/2, ooooh factor 1/3, originality 0.5/1 = 4 |

So he's looking down the barrel of your lens? Gotta think you're gonna lose that standoff. ;-) Nicely done. |

nice circle, title sucks. Needs to be a bride in background. |
