I believe this shot may have worked even better without the title...or a much shorter one...like say..."Ring?" well done crop and angle though and good use of B&W. Good Luck! |

A difficult capture because of the velvet; unfortunately, it is too dark there, and you can't even see the slot for the ring. I would have liked to see the skin tones evened out here for aesthetic effect, e.g., with Neat Image, though I realize they are natural for a closeup like this.
Personally, this is not my interpretation of the challenge. I understand how some people think that, but I feel it was the "easiest way out" in a difficult challenge. |

Uh OH! How embarassing and shocking! ;)
A good idea for the challenge but the shot is a bit dull, maybe a bit more contrast? Also the box is very dusty? Kind of hurts the shot. A 7 |

Yes, that would be a shock, more for the giver than the receiver. The black velvet box shows up well against the hand. I'd like to see more contrast between the hand and the background. Wish the hand was in focus. Wish the gesture implied more surprise, maybe he could be dropping the box? Or if there was a mirror in the back, we could see the look on herr face? |

I don't believe it is necessary to use foul language (or insinuate the word) in the title of you photo. |

There needs to be more contrast between the hand and the wall, perhaps the wall should have been dark rather than light.
Suggestion, you should have wiped the lint off the ring box .. it is a distraction ;)
Nice DOF, interesting angle. |

Not sure the implied obscenity is all that necessary... |
