I am not sure but curiously i am tempted to give u a high vote. though it kinda missed the point (of the chllenge) but U provoked some thoughts here with the title (coupled with the image).

Doesn't fit in the topic for me. I'd further venture that saturation and focus have been compromised.

The leaves look splotchy. I might have tried to focus on the tip of the front leaves and had a little more dof. Not trying to mean or anything.

A bit out of focus, but still a great idea and composition. Put your nose closer, you really can smell snow ..... it's a wonderful scent. I would definitely try and take another photo like this.
