Took this in both RAW and JPEG. Liked my JPEG selections much better than RAW, as I felt it needed to be underexposed at least one stop so bokeh / ears would not get blown and colors would better pop. I also added a warming filter in-camera; the RAW file has a very unflattering blue tint. I look forward to sharpening and lighting up face a little bit.

That's a close up. I like that you aimed for the eyes in this shot, since you were able to get in so close. The edit will be good to see.

nice, you got really close, its a nice shot of the eyes and i like how the head it tilted a little bit like he is giving you some attitude.

Why hello here! Great close up. I wish I could get this close and sharp with the critters around here. Great framing - the tilt of his head is perfect. The lighting is well caught and the background colors are nice, subtle and very complimemtary to your model. Looking forward to the edit on this one.

Cool how did you get so close? I love those eyelashes. It's like i am expecting to see the dear with some red lipstick on too - so pretty!

I like the textures and the feel of this; I wonder if cropping a little from the left, so the head is closer to that side, might add something (could also really mess it up, too!).

Nice close up. Great use of dof/bokeh. I really have the sense he's looking right into the camera at me. Did you try portrait orientation also? I think seeing more of his face would add a lot.

Great DOF. I feel that the eyes need to take up less or more of the shot. Either way, I look forward to seeing what you make of it.

Great shot! I love the eyes. Cropping this way really draws your attention to them.

very nice image. well exposed and composed, although i think a vertical orientation might have served it better. unless you were shooting specifically to crop it square. very calm and gentle; well done!

Very good sharpness and DOF but I think the crop is too tight, I'd love to see more of the face.

How in the world did you get so close? That's a wonderful crop (by that I mean the way you cropped with the camera). Very sweet. And you do know that with the RAW you can get to where the jpeg is, right? Nice choices of camera settings for this. Lovely photo!
