 Photo of my beautiful girlfriend (Kate) shot handheld. Lighting is a single candle raised up to a suitable height with the tiniest amount of ambient from the next room. The combination of ISO1600 and pushing nearly two stops in RAW conversion provided PLENTY of noise :). Resizing down (there's no crop here) left me with just the right amount.

The girl's face is very intense, but the lighting seems sort of harsh and the coloring is somewhat dull.

Low level lighting produced a mild overall grain to this image that is complimentary to the total quality of this capture, Very Nice
