Excellent composition, with good use of textures and lines in the lightness of the dirt; that he looked to his left just adds flow. Nicely shot (I hope he got a biscuit for behaving so well).

Nice rule of thirds. The dog's black adds enough contrast to make this a visually interesting photo. Love it.

yes the beast does look very dignified ... and relaxed ... all at the same time!! ... he also looks like a very contented type of guy .. beautiful dog ... great photograph .. love the black and tan!! ... love his posture and that paw sort of lost in the sand and the splayed toes on the other one .. excellent ..
think i'd like to give him a big hug ... he looks soooooooo cuddly .. !!! :)
