Just trying out my newly contructed DIY light box that I made from a 17" Computer Monitor carton and some white polyethelen shopping bags. This is just my first attempt, but I like the potential I see. I like it a LOT!

My, what tiny nuts you have, Greetmir! LOL. Very fun. Good lighting.

The image is fun, although I think a walnut would have worked better (I know - working with what's available). :D

As for the new lightbox, the lighting looks well balanced. You're getting some nice side lighting (in a subtle way), and the subject is illuminated consistently without showing any harshness/blowouts. Would be interesting to see results with something that has a more reflective surface (glass, chrome, etc...).

Seems to be working just fine. Well done!

The pipewrench - a tool of slow torture if used in this manner. How about a tryptich (or some other series) of images along this same line using other types of wrenches?
