I suffer from Manic Depression and sometimes the smallest thing is too hard.

Cropped, rotated CCW just under 2 degrees, desaturated yellow and red channels slightly, noise ninja run twice, resized with several step downs, brightened +12, saved for web.

I feel your pain... This image conveys strong emotion, although I think the technical aspects could have played an even more important role if aptly applied. Still, a strong emotional impulse drives this shot and carries it through. I hope that your downward spirals are matched by upward ones.

Daily exercise and sunlight are two of the best things for depression. Also, eating high carbohydrate and sugar laden foods cause major blood sugar dives and rises which leads to mood swings and overall feeling crappy. There are lots of things you can do to take the edge off depression.

It does get better if you understand some of what causes it in the first place.

I usually wouldn't give a shot like this too high of score, but the mood just jumps out of this shot. I like it for that!
