Too much frame, not enough image.

Would have worked better with even lightning. I find the border between the lit and shaded part very disturbing.

frame overwhelms image - doesn't leave me enough to see. Understand selective desat choice though not sure I would have made it. Grain not strong enough to have impact.

Not a big fan of the picture frame. I like the contrast of the shed against the woods in the background.

The border is far too prominent in this submission. Our focus should be the picture not the frame.

It's not a bad border, but I wonder if it might impact your score some? The reason I ask this is because the 640 pixel max is so small to begin with and then the border takes up a good bit of that real estate making your photo even smaller. The smaller the photo, the less visible the detail.

I think your border is heavy and metallic/aluminium-looking: just detracts too much from the image which in itself is lovely and gentle. Love the partial desat.
