The cross is placed too central within the photograph and the overall tones are a bit light. However, I like the subject matter and IMO would suggest the following, if you get the chance to photograph this again: get the camera really close to the ground and shoot upwards to include the canopies of the tall trees. Move the cross either to the left or right of the photo if you are going to keep it the same size, which I think is great as it would give the effect of the cross towering over the viewer. Or use rule of thirds to place it. |

a slight boost in contrast and an off-centered composition would make this a stronger image, IMHO ... |
