| Since the highlights are blown, I can hardly see the rice. And I don't think the added noise/grain adds to the effectiveness of the image. I like the composition of the bowl, spoon and drape. |

| Nice try, but too many blown highlights. I can't see that the grain/noise adds much to this one. |

| I don't really like the color noise, a monochromatic noise would probably be better. |

| This could have worked well were it not for the extremely bright foreground and the top left hand side of the image. The highlights are blown out and have lost most of the detail. I like the subject matter though and the shadow ont he right of the bowl which creates depth. |
